Dihan Wijewickrama

Dihan originally trained as a chiropractor then trained in & practiced Network Spinal Analysis (also known as Network Care – a gentle form of chiropractic that uses specific light touch to stimulate the nervous system).

After more than 10 years in practice including 2 years of teaching chiropractic at Murdoch University, Dihan perceived an increasing need to address the consequences of widespread stress and trauma that weren’t getting solved by psychological or bodywork therapies acting separately. Dihan shifted his focus from chiropractic to developing integrative (mind+body) approaches to recovery from adversity, trauma recovery and resilience. This new approach to trauma recovery and developing resilience – called NeuralX (short for Neural Exercise) based on the work of pioneering neurophysiologist Dr. Stephen Porges, focuses on training and developing the nervous system for regulation – to promote recovery, healing and growth.

Dihan offers standalone Network Neural Care (non-chiropractic) bodywork sessions and Trauma Recovery coaching combining education, critical skills development, facilitation and bodywork. Dihan & Kali are the founders of the Trauma Recovery Project, and offer new understanding and powerful tools to support nervous system regulation and trauma recovery.
